Urban Farm Fermentory

An experimental fermentation center focused on community and education, the Urban Farm Fermentory (UFF) ferments an array of unique products. We spontaneously ferment our array of fresh pressed Maine apple Cider in a Farmhouse style until it's bone dry & tart. Our Mead has a similarly unique flavor, crisper and more vibrant than many. And our Kombucha (fermented tea) is one of the few true versions left, with 1.5% alcohol and a lambic bite. Founded in 2010, the UFF was the first brewery/winery to set up shop in Portland, Maine's East Bayside industrial area, which is fast becoming the city's most recognized brewery cluster (including Rising Tide Brewing, Bunker Brewing, Lone Pine, Oxbow Blending & Bottling, and Maine Craft Distilling).
