Wow! A return to form for TwoFold on this one. I’d argue the best NZ Pilsner I’ve ever had at 6% ABV or under. Classic Pilsner flavour profile but with a grassy flavour note throughout and a hoppy finish. Has a lovely mouth coating effect too.

Turns out I had it before. Couldn't get a reasonable photo, so used an old one. There's an intriguing note of something undefinable here, lingering on my palate. Surely a pilsner couldn't have a faint hint of aniseed? A very faint, clinging soupçon?
