A coconut forward IPA with a slight back-end bitterness. 4 pounds of coconut was used in the boil, whirlpool and dry hopping stages. Also, 2 oz extract was added during the bottling conditioning stage. Citra and Amarillo hops were added at the end of the boil, whirlpool and dry hopping. The batch was over-carbonated during bottling as the coconut absorbed a lot of the beer during fermenting. Read Less
