another tete d'allumette with spot on tasting notes. hugely malty, the locally smoked malt in this is delicious. like a barleywine fermier? berry, licorice, orange notes are all present with the smoke and malt. the pine needles add a wonderful fresh note.

Super interesting beer! This saison, on the farm ale side, has an herbal and spicy odor and flavor. Smokiness and medium mouth feel. Sweet at the start and sourish finish. This beer got better and as I drank it. To be taken with an open mind, really good!
