Batch one from early 2016, aged pretty well, I seem to remember the berry not coming through, but I do get notes of blackberry

Bottle is 3 years old and has held up really well. Still a heavy sweet honey flavor with a nice burn at the end

I delightful small batch mead, sweet on the front and with a pepper infused spicy tail. A little on the sweet side for me, but good overall.

From the 05/16 batch. Little bit of sediment on the bottom, but clear otherwise. Still has a pleasant heat on the tongue and back of throat, not quite as clean of a honey taste but has held up pretty well after 7 years
