Our state of the art, innovative brewery sits amongst the Devon countryside looking towards the Salcombe Ria. The brewhouse is a unique concept built on the site of a decommissioned water reservoir. This utilises the natural ambient temperature of the underground facility for storing our ales at perfect conditioning temperature, this helps make our brewery as energy efficient as possible. The site also has its own borehole which is capable of supplying the brewery with its own source of pure Devonian waters.
The brewery consists of a 20-barrel brewhouse with 8 fermenting vessels, capable of producing up to 720 x 9G casks per week. Currently the brewery is producing a range of cask real ales and an ever expanding range of keg beers.
We also have a packaging site where we house our own bottling, canning and kegging lines.
Sustainability is a key objective for us, we don't use any plastic in our packaging and aim to keep doing what we can to help the environment. We partner with the Seahorse Trust who do tremendous work in protecting these incredible creatures, of which inhabit our local waters in Salcombe.
We welcome visitors for brewery tours to learn about our beer and sampling our ales. The Brewery Shop is open Mon-Fri 10am to 4pm and Sat 10am -2pm, selling beer, gift packs and branded merchandise. Beers are also available in 5L, 10L and 20L bag in boxes for collection and also to supply weddings and private parties.
