Gose with Ginger, Cucumber and Lime

Beer style originally from the German city of Goslar, where Gose river passes by and so naming the style.

It's characterized by the freshness, acidity, saltiness and a citric touch from the coriander.
In this version we added lime to contribute with an aroma explosion.
The flavour of ginger and cucumber shows in the mouthfeel increasing the freshness of it.

Velhaca and Piratas agreed to produce, from time to time, some collaborative beers.
Chapter one is Anne, Velhaca Perna de Pau (Wooden Leg Rascal).
The name was inspired in Anne Bonny, one of the most famous female captain pirate in the Caribe Sea.

To make Anne, we smashed 120kg of fresh peaches and added them in the secondary fermentation. The result, 240L of an amazingly light, smooth, slightly tart and very peachy Gose.

Catharina sour with Gwava, Lime and Pink Peppercorn.

Catharina Sour is a brazilian style created in Santa Catarina Region.
The base is similar to the Berliner Weiss Style but a bit more alcoolic (4-5.5%).
It also assumes the use of local fruits.

In our interpretation we decide to use Guava, with it's strong flavor, and lime, that complements it with citric notes.
Pink Peppercorn, originary from Mastic trees
from the Atlantic coast of Brazil, contributes to the flavor with a special touch.

Should be served between 4 and 8ºC in Stange, Flute or Pilsner glass.
It goes perfectly with grilled fish or meat and pastas.

their own room in the craft beer scene.
Hoist the colours, sentence used by
pirates when raizing their flag,
represents a line of beers with fruits and
spices being this one it's first edition.
In this edition Mango was the choice,
contribuiting with flavor. Then, a bit of
basilic, providing a spice and mint twist.

Ale'o'ween is a seasonal beer, normally released on Halloween, where pumpkin is the queen of the party.

2021 edition was done in collaboration with Bo Brewpub.

The recipe varies each year. 2021 edition is stronger. We used Hokkaido pumpkins and a considerable amount of spices: Ginger Root, Black Pepper, Jamaican Pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Orange Peel, Cinnamon Flowers, Fenugreek seeds, Bourbon Vanilla.

It reveals an incredible sweet spiced pumpkin aroma and still smooth and easy drinking where pumpkin shines with all the spices. Read Less

The base is similar to the Berliner Weiss Style but a bit more alcoolic (4-5.5%).
It also assumes the use of local fruits.

In this interpretation we decide to use apricot and gwava as main players in aroma and flavous complemented with some citric notes provided by tangerine.
