It has honey malt (we just love it!), we used chocolate malt, added roasted marshmallows for those roasty and mallow flavors and campfire smoke at the end of the taste. A "Wunderkammer" is a special cabinet for precious things. In making this Imperial Cream Ale (which is the fantasy beer description we've came up with for this), Outlier Cartel gathered friends and family to help make and inspire the beer. Think of Viennese vanilla and almond crescents, and Christmas in Austria. Brewed for GABS 2017. pouring amber with golden highlights, the head is thin leaving a dense lacing on the glass. a touch of toasted almonds and vanilla upfront on biscuit and caramel, an almost croissant-like base from the malts used. a thick and creamy mouthfeel, with slight bubbles underneath. a 'master of disguise', not showing the fact that this is more like a spiced english barleywine clocking in at 9% ABV. drink now or cellar for a decade, this beer which is essentially a gruit will improve for years to come. I've got this massive crate of Zuckermelonen,
whatever shall we do with them?', Carmichael pondered.

'Let's make the happiest beer in the world!' Herbie squeed with delight.

'How does one make such a happy beverage?' asked Carmichael. Herbie pointed to the towering diving platform with a devilish glint in his eye. With great aplomb, Herbie released the cantaloupes from such great heights which produced an explosion of ripe, orangey jumble of fruity bits below.

Carmichael followed each descent with his looking glass until it's deep, gratifying thud to the earth. With great glee he thought, 'Now I know how to make the happiest beer in the world!'

Since we formed in 2015, we always thought that brewing a beer that could survive the Apocalyptic would be a worthwhile project. We took careful consideration in the ingredients: 10% kumara in the mash for fermentables, and added coconut, kelp, curcumin and tiger nuts in the dry hop for a complex and intriguing aroma and flavor - these ingredients would have to survive the fallout when some tiny fists hit the big nuclear launch button! The following ingredients are all featured are all radio-resistant - meaning they should be able offset mutations from a nuclear holocaust. Also - this beer is a corpulent beer made in the style of an old ale, which means it can be cellared for those long nights spent in your underground bunker! Read Less
