Lots of milk chocolate. Bourbon is quite mellow & not quite pronounced enough. Fairly woody. I’m wondering if the barrel has had the whiskey drawn out of it a few too many times. 🤷♂️ Gets more burnt bitter as it opens up.

Whatever happened to this style? In the late 90’s everyone did them. Honey is strangely medicinal (Ricola). Cherry, almond & marmalade on brown bread. Doesn’t have the waxy body that I loved about this style way back when. Just ok.
