The first, and our most popular Irish craft cider was born out of a lengthy study and appreciation of other Celtic cider producers in Wales and Brittany.

Inspired by the full bodied fruitiness of the medium dry and sweet ciders of these regions, Finnbarra Medium Dry consists of 3 ciders, drawn from Dabinett, Michelin and Elstar/Falstaff varietals.

It has a mild effervescence and strong apple aroma. The high content of eating apples brings a strong golden hue colour. On the pallet there is an initial burst of flavour carrying through to a smooth astringency. Read Less

Stonewell 0% is a refreshing non-alcoholic cider. Fermented using typical bittersweet apples, a reverse osmosis process was used to extract the alcohol from the cider. This leaves a lot of the characteristics created by the fermentation process but with the added bonus that there’s no alcohol. At this stage of the process the cider is still “dry” in other words contains no sweetness, so to finish off this blend Stonewell added a small amount of apple juice which broadens the mouthfeel and brings a delightful fresh fruit aroma. Depending upon a number of factors, most fresh apple juice will ferment to 6-8% alcohol and this is one of the reasons our Medium and Dry ciders sit at around the 5.5-6% alcohol by volume mark.

However, whilst a lot of people told us they liked our medium dry and dry ciders it would be good to enjoy a Finnbarra in the middle of the day. And so it was that Tobairín was born, Finnbarra's lower alcohol Irish craft cider.

Tobairín (tobair meaning well, ín meaning small/light) is a low alcohol cider made from fermented Elstar eating apples blended with fresh Jonagored juice; nothing else. Read Less
