This beautiful reddish brown Scottish Heather Ale bursts with sweet honey and floral aromas from the heather flower and wildflower honey added to the kettle. The deep rich ruby colors are attributed to the British crystal malts which impart a caramel and bready character that are enhanced by the fruity esters of the Edinburgh Scottish Ale yeast. Just a hint of U.K. Fuggle hops were added during the boil to balance out some of the sweetness of the malt and bring harmony between the wildflower honey and floral earthiness of the heather flower.
