A dark ruby appearance. Toffee on the nose. While a nice beer, it seemed a little one-dimensional for a Barley Wine. Certainly not getting the full-bodied mouth feel I would have expected.

Though not my favorite style, this is a success for me. It's slightly nutty, and belgiany, with flavors of bubble gum and toasted marshmallow. Medium mouth feel and good carbonation.
