William McCloskey asked to join The Regulators after being fired by Lawrence Murphy, the man responsible for Tunstall's death. At one instance when the regulators captured some of Murphy's men, McCloskey suggested they parade them through town as an example, but actually he wanted to set a trap for The Regulators. Billie realized that McCloskey wasn't fired by Murphy, but worked as his spy instead. Still bitter about his mentor's death, he shot McCloskey on the spot against the order of the leader of the Regulators at the time. To honor Billie's ability to recognize this hazy character for what he really was, we brewed a Hazy IPA of course!

Very deep copper to brown clear color, white almost creamy head with fine retention. First aroma is herbal and spicy from the noble German hops used, followed with a sweeter malty and finally fruity aroma contributed by the ale yeast. Taste is initially bready, but the gentle yet rich bitterness kicks in right away. The finish is clean, smooth and crispy which is achieved with the lagering of his beer as required for the style. This being the sticke version of the altbier (more hops, more malt) makes it very enjoyable for both malty and hoppy beer lovers. Read Less

Started as a Belgian Wit Beer, but was transferred to a Slovenian oak wine barrel to work up the funk. Mulberry addition (Croatian for mulberry is Dud, hence the name) gave this beer its intense red-purple color. Sourness is both from the fruit and the mixed fermentation. The tiny green stems of the berries contributed with a distinct peppery note as well. Read Less

We proudly present you our first beer we specifically brewed with the aim to sour and mature in wine barrels!

Duality has a double nature, with grape juice being added to the wort from the early stages of fermentation, which was performed by a wine yeast strain.

Cabernet Sauvignon must was added when the beer was transferred in the barrels that previously held red wine and we allowed the microflora present do some souring and maturing for 1 year before bottling this elixir. Read Less

Our west coast IPA is bitter kiss..
So we present you the west coast DIPA:
Bitter F**K!

Simple grain bill consisting mostly of Pils, some Munich and Vienna and a touch of carapils. Sticking to the familiar workhorse of a yeast US-05 for this one, and combining some old school and new school hops in Citra, Cascade, Azacca and HBC472.

The resulting beer is an aromatic bomb loaded with the whole citrus spectrum: tangerine dominant, followed by grapefruit, oranges and lemons. Some pineapple and piny notes there as well. Hops are well present in flavor with their fruity notes along side with some simple malt sweetness, but in the finish the (appropriate) 69 IBUs state their presence. Read Less
