RIP Millstone. An ancient bottle. Tart, complex, apple, berry, kind of a dry malt finish despite being a cider. I was afraid this would be vinegar by now but it's actually quite good.

High toned heirloom apples; remarkably clean - a subtle cheesiness is there but closer to an aged Gouda or Mimolette but only on the nose not the palate. Aromas/flavours of apple, chamomile & fennel. Whisp of vanilla. My god this is good. RIP Millstone.

Last bottle. No longer raspy or schtanky, as it’s 9 years old. Almost flat. Tart, soft and crisp at the same time. Quite floral, but all very subtle as is everything about this cider right now. $25 at Eataly when purchased. RIP Millstone.
