Corba (5%), una Brown Porter piuttosto in linea con il tradizionale modello di riferimento, ma che non disdegna una luppolatura decisa. A ogni modo fa dell’equilibrio la sua cifra stilistica, con aromi di caffè, nocciola e toffee che si accompagnano a sfumature erbacee. È molto facile da bere, a dispetto di chi crede che le birre scure sia necessariamente forti e impegnative. Il nome significa “cesta” e indica l’oggetto che storicamente utilizzavano i “piccioccus de crobi”, i ragazzi di strada della Cagliari di fine ‘800 che trasportavano le merci provenienti dal porto: una versione in salsa sarda dei “porters” londinesi, i facchini a cui è dedicato questo antico stile birrario. Resoa nasce dall’incontro di Mezzavia con Sapori di Sardegna, giovane e dinamica realtà nel mondo enogastronomico sardo. È una birra che nasce per accompagnare quanto di buono offre la Sardegna a tavola, a partire dalle eccellenze del mondo agropastorale: pane, formaggi, salumi, conserve. Il mastro birraio si è ispirato alle American wheat, birre di frumento in stile americano caratterizzate da luppoli provenienti dagli U.S.A. e dall’utilizzo di grano maltato a conferire un corpo morbido e rotondo ben bilanciato dall’affilato amaro dei luppoli. Resoa è prodotta in esclusiva per Sapori di Sardegna, a sancire una comunione di intenti (proporre quanto di meglio offre la nostra isola) e una visione comune. Il suo nome (sa resoa, in sardo, è il coltello) evoca uno degli oggetti più caratteristici della produzione artigianale isolana, che trova a tavola – esattamente come questa birra – il suo ambiente ideale.
