Sometimes the world shrinks. A brewer in Sweden has dinner with his singing cousin who, as it seams, knows a Belgian brewer. After a quick introduction the idea of a collaboration to celebrate the 10 year aniversary of the song group Kongero was born - and the rest is as we say history. Kongero is a continuously hopped super saison. Hops used are Magnum, Saaz, Hallertauer Tradition and Chinook. This is a collaboration between Jackdaw Brewery and Brouwerij Alvinne. Read Less

The flavour is deep leading with classic triple flavours of sweet-malt, figs and a touch of honey. The finish is peppery with some fruit courtesy of the wine barrels. De brouwers van Vrijstaat Vanmol gingen hiervoor speciaal naar Noorwegen om de knepen van het vak te leren op een Noorse brouwerij.
Vervolgens staken de brouwers van Vrijstaat Vanmol Brewing en Brouwerij Alvinne de koppen bij elkaar. Het resultaat werd een fris, licht zurig bier met zachte fruitige hopsmaak afgerond met noordelijke houttoetsen. Read Less
