Some flavoured beers don't live up to the promise. With this the smell of a Bara Brith hit me as soon as it was placed in front of me. The taste is even better. Perfectly spiced, rich deep flavours, very easy drinking. I absolutely love this. Lush.

I do love me a drop of mild. More flavour than you'd expect from a 3.8%, surprisingly tasty. Rich, roasty flavours. Smooth, very drinkable. Like this a helluva lot.

Let me say up front, this is a lovely drop of stout. Rich, fruity and flavourful. However... I think I prefer the original Stouty. This doesn't up the original in taste, it doesn't feel that much stronger. Very good but the original was great.
