Bitter and smooth. Doesn’t taste too old fashioned for a bitter - got a bit of a sharp bite.

Pleased to find this on the menu in Suffolk. Refreshing and pleasingly bitter. Would prefer a bit more haze and a bit less fizz, but a good outdoor option. Sue V likes it in her Friday Street.

Lower alcohol at 3.1% but rather enjoyable in a nod to Adnams Ghost Ship in colour & hops. Full up front hop flavours are citrusy and piney, but they dissipate through the swallow & leave a little of a tang.

Soft and earthy flavour. Not overly gassy, possibly a bit too light and easy for my particular taste, but a pretty good drinkable ale for the summer.

Dark and rich, smooth roasted coffee beer with a little bitterness at the end. There’s not much more I can say... lovely.

Sharp, tangy, astringent, fresh, zingy... quite dry and clean. Definitely a summer ale for bbq season. For a “hazy” ale it was quite clear until the very last of the bottle was added, so if you prefer it less hazy, look out for that settled sediment.
