Released 06/12/20 for Homage's 4th Annviersary.

This saison was formed utilizing second use “pomace” from our Zinfandel grapes used in our Saison Human Behavior B2. We then used the same treatment as our whole Strawberry Saison, “Wild Pink Robots.” We chose a barrel aged blend of wild ale to combine with the “strawberries and grapes” to undergo a fruit maceration.

Our influence behind this saison is a wine technique called “Piquette,” which is a grape beverage produced by using left over grape pomace and adding water to create a simple wine or wine substitute. Instead of diluting our leftover pomace with water, we used our aged hop oak fermented wild ale, and conditioned it atop the pomace and whole strawberries for 5 weeks. Read Less
