Aged for a good few years (best by October 2018) but this beer is still slapping, showing only slight signs of age. Big dark malts, chocolate syrup, creamy vanilla, some peat, mellow ashy roast. Quite sweet but rather enjoyable as a sipper.Earned the 2X (Level 16) badge!
End-of-evening beer which I didn't check in last night. It was made for "glacial ageing" so had been saving this one for a suitable occasion. From a gone-but-not-forgotten brewery, hope the guys from Millom are doing OK in their post-brewing days.
