Two of the worlds best IPA breweries, The Veil and Monkish, are back at Mash this year and we are delighted to do a three way collab with them. This was never going to be anything other than a ridiculously heavily hopped monster and that is exactly what this DIPA is. Dosed at three stages with Mosaic Spectrum, Mosaic Cryo, Mosaic T90, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin this DIPA is all things passion fruit, mango skin, pink grapefruit, jolly rancher, Sauv Blanc and pine. A thick liquid with a soft mouthfeel carries this absolute hop blitzkreig onto your tastebuds and will have you surrendering to the green. Read Less

Triple IPA 11% ABV brewed using London Fog yeast to highlight Cashmere, Columbus, Citra & Cascade hops. Contains lactose.
A big, luscious triple IPA brewed with our friends at northern monk. This juicy banger was brewed with a base of extra pale pils malt to keep a pale inviting colour despite it's high abv. It was also given the usual high quantities of oats and wheat with an added dose of lactose to really give this a luxurious juicy texture. This was followed by whirlpool additions of Cascade and galaxy and then hit with truck loads of Citra, Cashmere and more Galaxy giving a super soft beer with big notes of mango, lemon, pineapple and a touch of dank on the finish. Here it is. Soup. Times 3. For the 4th anniversary of our move to the production brewery in San Andreu we wanted to do something a little bit special. We’ve taken Soup and scaled it up to TIPA territory and then dumped ridiculous amounts of Citra and Mosaic in 5 of the most modern and impactful formats; Incognito, Cryo, T90, BBC & Co2 Bittering extract. The list of names sounds like a group of universe saving superheroes and in their own way they are. Incognito is a new one for us. Added at whirlpool stage in liquid form, it allows more aroma to make it’s way to the fermenter than with just pellets alone. Reducing vegetal material also allows produciton of a very clean wort. We have become a huge fan of Cryo hops over the last few years due to the extremely bright characteristics it brings to the nose of a beer and when paired with the high notes contributed by T90 pellets and the deeper, more stone fruit forward notes of BBC pellets it really sings. On top of all, of theses hop formats we have also dry hopped this beast at four separate stages. All in all, you will have to go a long way to find a truer, broader expression of tropical, stone fruit, blueberry, citrus and slight dank that the darling duo of the craft beer game, Citra and Mosaic, have to offer. Earlier in the year we took a trip over to Verdant for a collab and it turned out to be an absolute killer. So we invited the guys over to brew a return trip in Barcelona with huge expectations to meet. We decided on a tank of a DIPA stocked with loads of Citra, Citra Spectrum, Nelson Sauvin and Bru-1 Spectrum. Spread over three additions this beauty oozes grapefruit, pineapple, peach rings, gooseberry and sauv blanc wine. The body packs all of the softness that we love about Verdant beers with a little bitter finish that we love here at Garage. Read Less

Circus Tears was probably the first venture into real pastry territory for us at Garage and it was a real crowd pleaser so we figured it was time for a revisit. The malt bill remains the same with it's complex notes of dark chocolate, coffee and dried red fruits. The only difference in this brew is that in the intervening years we have found better quality vanilla which really stars in this beer enhancing all of the other luxurious flavours and rounding out the body. Combined with the pistachio nuts and milk sugar you get a pistachio ice cream float type of feeling that we really dig. Read Less

Bringing together our favourite aspects of two beers from last year, Gold on Blue and Cartoons, Bluetoons is a big, full bodied TIPA packed with Mosaic, Vic Secret and HBC 431. A blend of Mosaic Cryo and Mosaic BBC gives a really well rounded Mosaic character of overripe mango with some nice dank sweatiness. Paired with Vic Secrets notes of tropcial fruit such as pineapple and passsion fruit, as well as the super peachy HBC 431 this TIPA is a smooth tropical fruit punch with a slight dank edge. Multi-stage hopped TIPA that sees hop additions at every stage of the process. Starting in the mash a portion of the bittering addition is added to reduce heavy metal content imparted from the malts and thus help with oxidation reduction in the lifespan of the beer. Following on from this, the bittering hop additon is added as a first wort addition seeking to achieve a smoother overall bitterness. Then a heavy whirlpool dose at reduced temperatures aims to retain as much of the beautiful but volatile oils that Simcoe and Cascade have to offer while keeping bitterness levels down. The return of a monster. Plant makes its triumphant comeback with a whopping 100kg dry hop. That's a 30g/l charge here at Garage. Dry hopped over two stages with Cashmere, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe, this is one juicy creamsicle of a DIPA. Big notes of tropical mango, coconut and pineapple are backed up by grapefruit and sweaty pine resin. A lactose addition creates a smooth and round mouthfeel that makes this a decadent DIPA. Triple IPA that gets a loaded dry hop treatment. Dry hopped with more than 100kg of hops per brewlength, this is a big, stinky IPA. Pale, straw yellow in colour with a soft, fluffy body and jam packed with Amarillo Cryo, Amarillo, Talus and Citra giving sweet citrus notes of lemon meringue pie, orange sorbet and plenty of peach character. Talus brings a light touch of rose water and pink grapefruit that add a nice complexity to the nose. We have been big fans of Cryo hops this year and Amarillo Cryo hasn't let us down. The more pungent notes of varietals are brought to the fore with Cryo and when paired with T90 pellets we love the complete hop profile that it brings to our beers. Read Less

We are very fortunate to be able to brew Ziplocked '23. A select lot of Double R Ranches Citra has been shipped to us especially for this beer. While over in Yakima at hop selection in September we had the privilege of being hosted by the Riel family of Double R Ranches as they returned the favour from their trip to Garage last year. It's no wonder their hops are so good considering the standards that they work to in harvesting and processing thier hops.
We have stayed true to last years recipe and just let the hops do the talking. Pushing our mash tun to the limit using dangerous amounts of flaked wheat and oats to conjure up a creamy, silky base beer. On top of this we have layered loads of Citra in the WP and then pushed our IPA rules. Read Less

When discussing this recipe with the guys at The Veil we all agreed we had to push the boat out on this DIPA. That means a ridiculous brewhouse destroying 50% oat grist and the most in demand brewing ingredient on the market today: Phantasm. Phantasm is a Thiol precursor derived from Nelson Sauvin grapes that boosts tropical fruit aromas through biotransformation in fermentation. Pairing this with loads of gooseberry like Nelson Sauvin and citrus and tropical Citra leads to one hell of a pillowy juice bomb. Read Less
