This beer has been created in collaboration with BEaBEER in which we wanted to creat a reinterpretation of the typical drink of Menorca's summer: the Pomada.
Taking a basic recipe of a classical English Pale Ale, characterized by the balance between malt and hops, we wanted to add the characteristics of the most famous drink of Menorca's summer: the citrus flavours of lemon and the astringency and flavour of gin.
In order to achieve these characteristics we've flavored with orange peels and lemon, cardamom and juniper from Gin Xoriguer distillery. These aromas, together with their high alcohol content, are combined to give shape to our approach to the Pomada in a refreshing and aromatic beer version. Read Less
