Oak fermented Scottish table beer hopped with Cascade and Bramling Cross. Brett and saccharomyces are used, too, for a dry, mineral funk with earthy, forest floor notes. Really nice, a great pint with more flavor than almost all 3.6% beers.

I really don’t know what to make of this - totally not what I was expecting, especially compared to other Scotch Ales I have tried. Very sour with a lingering ‘tarty’ aftertaste. One to try, but not one I would personally buy again.
