After30 days in the keg this beer is finally peaking.CTZ hops have finally smoothed out,it's drinking nice.Too bad this keg is about to blow
Bier Wuver: This crop of CTZ 2014 crop are potent. I believe the CTZ's gave the beer a sweet caramel candy flavor. No crystal malt,finished super dry.
Bier Wuver: It's weird how these hops gave off that sweetness. But I smashed up some pellets and I knew it was these hops that gave off this sweetness.
Derek L: Interesting. I've had a couple beers with those hops recently. I have not experimented with them. Next batch I'm Doing will be ipa.

Tastiest beer I've ever brewed. I lucked out and got really fresh mosaic hops. Probably could not replicate if brewed again.
Chris Creel: Problems with the piping?
Bier Wuver: My glass carboy developed a crack. It leaked out about a half gallon while the beer was fermenting from underneath carboy.I almost lost her.
Chris Creel: Argh! Sold my glass carboy to this guy you may know? His name's Brewer Pass.
Bier Wuver: Haha, that's the guy that ruined me in this hobby.
Chris Creel: I have been wondering what was up at the Destroyer Brewing Co.
Bier Wuver: I had a contamination issue with my last four brews. Took me some time to figure out the cause. No check ins for bad home brew.
Chris Creel: What was the cause?
Bier Wuver: Well, I replaced all my plastic but I think the real culprit was contaminated keg lube I was using from a zip lock bag. Damn hindsight.
Chris Creel: :: Argh! ::
