Too dry for Georgian and Russian tastes. Fair enough too. Note to self - kill the fermentation at 1.016… also has a tiny bit of sulphur smell (should clean up). Honey, orange and spices are present in aroma and taste. Not how I wanted it go exactly…shame.

Like a big, boozy, amplified traditional Welsh red ale but in a bottle and not on cask. Malt forward. Notes of strawberry, cranberry, port wine and hedgerow. Low carbonation as is traditional. Not sure what locals will think of that but Ill smash it!
Andrey Petukhov: I read that using kveik like yeast is possible to get lager like beer in just a few days. By the way - is there a way to obtain your beer?
Dai დაი Cwrw: Andrey P. Kveik usually gives a farmhousey aroma with it, but it is possible. These néw genetically modified versions can make it as clean as lager in a few days yes! Possibly soon mate… watch this space. Need to jump some hurdles first :)

A year on. Hides the abv well. Clean, clear with a taste that grows and grows. Love it.

Forgot i made this before I moved. Opened the box. Ta da. Very very hoppy. Smooth. Juicy. Next to no bitterness. Orange, passion fruit, lime. Not bad for a forgotten Frankensteinbeer! What colour too! No oxididation considered it was bottled 5 months ago.

Man that’s tasty. Its developed a proper melted toffee mouthfeel and flavour. Again, id add a wee bit more peat malt next time (not traditional maybe but…). Proper real ale, low carb as well as thickness means that the head doesn’t stay about for long.

Just a homemade 10% Double New England IPA... spot on. So hoppy. So rich. Milky smooth. I love Talus!

First taste - wish I made more. 😂 I feel like im in a Scottish village. Very mild chocolate and peaty aromas. Crosses over with the taste. Soft finish. Toffee on exit. Very dangerous ABV that hides it well. Ill be brewing this again!

First tasting - loads of plum, raisin, a little raspberry fruitiness and pretty smooth for the style. Sweet but not cloying. Finished drier than expected. A very mild bitterness. Moderately carbonated. Id add more dark malt next time. Will let it age now.

I'm not sure how the mead should be but for me it's more sour then i expected to have.
Dai დაი Cwrw: It started off as natural fermentation then finished off with mead yeast, so it has a tartness and dryness yeah. It also needs aging for about 6 months before other flavours come through. 👍🏼
