“Reapers & Creepers”, an IPA with a melange of Oats and Wheat on top of a base of @riverbendmalt 2-Row. It was then dry-hopped with a dusting of Citra, and double-dry-hopped with a murderous and violent amount of Nelson, Motueka, Columbus, and Enigma.

A super silky body followed up with notes of fresh Papaya and Passionfruit, a hint of White Pear, Orange jelly wedges, Muscat Grape Hi-Chew candies, and a fat friggin’ pile of fresh sticky icky. We’ve been vibing on dankness with the last few releases, and this really hit a sweet spot with turning that up a few notches. Nelson plus Enigma plus Columbus?! A little Motueka and Citra for extra fruit?! You know the deal. Hell yeah, this baby rips!

We each brewed up roughly the same beer, but with our own little tweaks in process and timing. See if you can’t get your hands on our version and theirs for a fun side-by-side. Or don’t. We’re not your parents. No rules, 2020.

Macroverse is a new 8% Imperial Oat IPA brewed in collaboration with Vince and Mike at DSSOLVR. The goal in designing this beer was to create a heavily oated Imperial IPA with huge mouthfeel and tropical and citrus notes. We brewed this beer with heavy amounts of oats and oat milk. We hopped it with Jarrylo and Azacca in the whirlpool and for the first time for us, added coriander on the hot side in a hoppy beer. This allowed for elevated notes of tangerine and orange citrus. We then gave this beer the DDH treatment with with Mosaic, Mosaic cryo, Jarrylo and Azacca. Read Less
