It’s BAAAaaaAAACK! Everyone’s favorite dank and fruity extra-spooky Abomination brewing DDH IPA Collab, “Reapers and Creepers” is back to help us celebrate Friday the 13th (yeah yeah yeah, we missed the last one, but it’s a great beer so get over it), and it is better than ever! As it goes with this one, we turned the fruity-tooty dial up even more and made some tweaks based on this past year’s learnings.

This lil’ ditty is an IPA mashed with a base of @Riverbend Chesapeake Pils and a melange of Oats and proximitymalt Wheat, then hit in the Whirlpool with some extra choice Motueka. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped with a whole mess of even more Columbus, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and finally double-dry-hopped with a murderous and violent amount of Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Enigma, along with a smattering of both Sabro Terpenes and Nelson Sauvin CGX for that good-good dank-dank top note.

In case you missed the changes, we swapped the base Malt out from Pale Malt to Pilsner to help ebb the hops to the forefront. We then went back to the original biotransformation hop charge of Columbus, but subbed out Citra Cryo for Strata Terpenes and added in a layer of Nelson Sauvin CGX pellets on top of the Nelson Sauvin for extra complexity. Same beer, but amplified way up. WE HAD TO BRING IT BACK! “Uppercuts and Laser Tag” is one of our most favorite IPA’s, and this batch really ties the whole room together, maaaaan. As always, we made some slight tweaks in line with what we’ve learned lately (I know, I know… “Shut up about the process already, Vince!”), but we’re so so happy to revisit this absolute unit of a Hazy DDH IPA.

Starting with a base of 100% @RiverbendMalt (we’re making more and more beers w/ 100% Riverbend because SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FAVORITES, PEOPLE! WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!) Comprised of Cumberland Pils, hefty doses of their Appalachian Wheat and Oat Malt, and just bunches of Chit Malt for body/head/complexity. We then open-hand slapped this lil’ ditty with Citra in the Whirlpool, then again with a very heavy hot-dip of Citra Dynaboost, and then AGAIN with Mosaic in the first dry-hop. The crew then decided to unleash a flurry of punches in the second dry-hop with MORE Citra, Enigma, and a final haymaker of Vic Secret Terpenes. It’s like getting into a street fight with a tropical fruit salad in a room full of lasers and smoke: passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, clementine, thick and chewy dab-rips, and an overwhelming sense of excitement (and a smidge of danger!).

Our processes will always grow and change, and it becomes most evident that we’ve made progress whenever we continue to revisit an old recipe. We hope you dig this one as much as we do!

The world’s best Pizza-branded Italian Pilsner collab with our buds Hoof Hearted Brewing, “Cold Caprese Pizza” is back again! Mashed solely and singularly with Riverbend Malt Cumberland Pilsner and hit with our trusted Lager treatment on the hot side. Hopped very aggressively in the Whirlpool with Pacifica and Hallertauer Mittelfruh, fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded for dat 100% natural carbonation, and dry-hopped with Tettnanger and Saphir before being laid down to Lager for many moons in our Horizontal Tanks.

We experience freshly-tossed Pizza dough, romantic bouquets of Wildflowers in the evening, sitting like 4 feet from someone who just peeled a Mandarin Orange, and a hint of Lemon Balm steeped in a cup of super mellow White Tea. It do be a Chippy Boi™ and we love it so. Read Less

Another turn around the sun means another fresh batch of ”Bones and Waves”, an IPA that washes over you like a sea of...of flavor…? Idk, man, it’s a Hazy IPA. Don’t get all hung up on it. We honestly didn’t change too much! Our process for IPA production is constantly evolving, though, so we did make some minor tweaks. We bumped the ABV back up just a touch (from 7.0% to 7.6%), smoothed out the body, and very lightly dropped the IBUs a bit more. The results are pretty dang phenomenal!

Mashed with a base of Riverbend 2-Row and 4 different kinds of Wheat to give an amped up and luscious body, hit on the hot side with Hallertauer Blanc, dry-hopped with more Hallertau Blanc, and then double-dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Strata, and El Dorado Cryo.

Notes of Pineapple upside-down cake, the perfect glass of dry Sauvignon Blanc, Lil Cuties Clementine wedges, creamy Orange Julius smoothies, Haribo gummy bears, and dried mango wedges. It’s more fruit-forward and juicy than the last batch and that makes us VERY excited. Oh, HELL to the yes, y’all. Read Less

“Pyramid Games” is back! An everyday crusher that has a little bit of everything: Fruity, dank, piney, hazy, juicy, crushable. Mashed with a medley of @riverbend 2-Row, Golden Naked Oats, mountains of Flaked Oats, and a touch of Dextrin Malt. Hopped aggressively throughout the boil and multiple dry-hops with a phenomenal trio of Sabro, Idaho 7, and Ekuanot. Fermented with our House IPA yeast for dat juice treatment, spunded for natural carb, blah blah blah. You know the deal.

A super balanced IPA slathered in Pineapple hard candies, some Pears and miscellaneous soft stone fruit, cold Pina Coladas in your cup, and just enough dankness to tie it all together. Besos, baby. Read Less

We've been working hard behind the scenes, fine-tuning and ramping up the intensity like a championship match! "Pleasant Murmurs" took a wild ride, and has been brought back to life WITHOUT ALL THAT DANG GLUTEN! THAT’S RIGHT! But that wasn't enough, no sir or ma’am! We went all-out and slammed it with a crazy load of Pineapple and Marshmallow, hitting you with a flavor frenzy that'll leave you reeling!

Crafted with Riverbend 2-Row and Raw Wheat, alongside White Wheat and a dash of Dextrin Malt. We packed the WP with Simcoe and Meridian, fermented it with our House IPA yeast, then dry hopped it first with MORE Simcoe and Meridian, and dry hopped it AGAIN with EVEN MORE Simcoe and Meridian. Naturally carbonated through spunding – IT’S, LIKE, SO RAD!

Seriously, y’all showed up much more than expected last time, so we’re gonna open this up for preorders and hold it back from all distro for a week to make sure we don’t sell out as quickly.

This GF Sour was conditioned on Peanuts, heaps and heaps and more heaps of Concord Grape, and a very healthy smattering of Marshmallow and Vanilla. Pretty much this is an Uncrustable that’s been injected with an extra helping of FLUFFFF. As the name suggests…

ANYWAY, we can’t really come up with better descriptions because we honestly just nailed this one right on the head again.

Just like how John and Sarah Connor fought the computer overlords and were finally able to conquer the war thanks to a friendly supercomputer-powered robot, for years we fought the idea of flagships or “core beers”, but have recently met our match with “Supercomputer”, our newest Hazy IPA that’s officially now in our lineup of core offerings. Meaning we’ll be making a concerted effort to keep this beer around all the time.

Over the last few years, we’ve found many base recipes that work well for our Hazy IPA category. We’ve scaled those up and down, increased and decreased dry hopping, tried new techniques, experimented with countless hop products, and yet…we kept coming back to this the tried and true base that was our “Computers” series of DDH Hazy IPA. On further review, we realized we really liked the base beer, and wanted to produce something more approachable for an every-day super-juicy Hazy IPA that could still hold up to our standards. Something hoppy and juicy and balanced, but not as intensely saturated as most of our other Hazy IPA. We normally do a lot of Double-Dry-Hopping for maximum saturation, if you hadn’t noticed.

So we stuck with the classic Citra-Mosaic combo for the hop blend, and then loaded it up with El Dorado as a third hop in this beautiful symphony of juice. The results are absolutely outstanding! A delightful blend of Blueberry, Blood Orange, Mango, Pineapple, Peach/Apricot, and a perfect kiss of dankness without any substantial bitterness Read Less

“Brain Oasis” is HERE to flood your tastebuds. Juicy, resinous, creamy, and well balanced (aka super crushable, brah).

Mashed with Riverbend Malt 2-Row and Proximity Malt Wheat Malt, along with a smattering of Flaked Oats, and hit heavily with Michigan Chinook and Cashmere in the Whirlpool. Fermented with our House IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carbo. Gently Dry-Hopped with some more extra-dope Michigan Chinook and Cashmere, then supremely and aggressively Dry-Hopped a second time with EVEN MORE Michigan Chinook and Cashmere, as well as a hefty dose of Strata and Citra Cryo. We really, really, really love Michigan Chinook and have been very patiently waiting to rebrew this beast with the knowledge we’ve gleaned about our processes over the last year. It’s back. It slaps.

Just waves of that classic Michigan Chinook character of Pineapples dipped in resin, followed up with notes of bottomless Clementine Mimosas, extra creamy Mango-Grapefruit frozen treats, and of course...a fat bag of sticky stuff.

Slam this one, cuz it really is our love letter to one of our all-time favorite hop varietals. Major shoutout to @HopHeadFarms for yet another killer lot of Michigan Chinook and Cashmere.

After we decided we had figured out where we wanted our “Born in the Juicy” IPA base to really sit a few years back, more new hop products have just continued to come out and we now bring it back once a year with the DDH treatment as “Born AGAIN”.

Mashed with a base of 100% @Riverbend comprised of Cumberland Pilsner, Oats, and Wheat, it was then smothered with Crystal in the Whirlpool and fermented with our House IPA yeast. It was then dry-hopped with Mosaic, and dry-hopped again with EVEN MORE Crystal and Mosaic, along with an abundance of Mosaic Cryo, and a new pourable Hop Liquid from Citra Hop Kief that captures all the greatness of Citra in a HIGHLY concentrated and easy-to-use extract, including the dank and resinous character that some pourables tend to lose out on.

We experience sticky Orange Marmalade, creamy Apricot puree, that first whiff from a fresh bag of Blueberry mini muffins, the fruitiest of dabs to your dome, and some fresh Pineapple Sage slapped in your palms and inhaled deeply.

“Born in the Juicy” was originally something we were very excited to keep in fairly regular rotation. Instead, it has quickly become our barometer for innovation in-house. *CLING CLING* Announcing the triumphant return of an all time favorite, Visions and Prisons DDH IPA. Wow, I can’t believe we didn’t put an ampersand in the name of this beer, like all those fancy restaurants I keep seeing pop-up! You know the 2005 cinematic masterpiece UNLEASHED, where evil Danny Devito has Bruce Lee chained up to fight battles for him?(sooo sick) That’s what I think of when I think about this beer. It’s been UNLEASHED from the chains of blaisé IPAs.

Crafted with a blend of River bendmalt 2-Row and the unique touch of Proximity Malt Wheat. Post-mash, we immersed it in the Whirlpool with Ella, underwent fermentation with our House IPA yeast, achieved 100% natural carbonation through spunding, and generously dry-hopped with additional Ella. To amplify the flavor, we threw in a second round of dry-hopping with MORE Ella, along with a touch of Meridian and Idaho 7 Cryo for good measure. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?!?!?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of all the buzz created by the “PB&J Mixtape” series that our dearest buds @xulbeer have been churning out over the past few years. And if you’ve been following us for a while, you’ve probably heard of our “Engine” Cheesecake Sour series. Naturally, we wanted to put our own little riff on the acclaimed XUL PB&J treatment and pair it up with our Cheesecake treatment. AND THE RESULTS ARE SIIIIIIIIIICK, BRUHHHHH!

“Above” is a new DDH IPA, and yes, it is hazy and juicy and hoppy and awesome. Mashed with @riverbend 2-Row and @proximity Wheat, along with some Oats for good measure. Hit in the Whirlpool with Meridian and El Dorado. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped once with more Meridian and El Dorado, and spunded (as always) for dat soft natty carb. Then dry-hopped a second time with EVEN MORE Meridian and El Dorado, and a dusting of Strata and El Dorado Cryo for good measure.

We experience soft White Peaches, Bosch Pears in that little cup with the juice, White Gummy Bears slathered in Mango jelly, a faint dankness that’s similar to when somebody on the bus is def holding and you can’t quite tell who it is, and maybe a hint of, like...a big ol’ scary juice monster comin’ at you from above. What’s that noise?! Is it a spooky monster?! Is it some wild beast?! NOPE! “Unknown Beast” is everyone’s favorite style: German Schwarzbier! Oh, heeeeyyyyy! And we re-vamped the recipe from last year, because we can’t leave well enough alone. WHEEEEE!

We started things off with a base of @Riverbend Chesapeake Pilsner and a whole mess of specialty and roasted malts from @proximitymalt before hopping it with Hallertauer Mittelfruh throughout the boil and smashing it full of Northern Brewer in the Whirlpool. We implemented our traditional German Lager treatment otherwise: slow and cold fermentation, spunding for 100% natural carbonation, and a long rest in a Horizontal Lagering Tank.

It starts off with notes of roasty Cacao, sweet Hazelnut, toasted Wheat bread, and just a hint of dem beans. Got me thinkin’ ‘bout dem beans...uh, right...then this finishes with the extra clean, crisp, and dry character we strive for. Don’t let the appearance of this beast fool you, it’s easily one of our favorite Lager offerings to date, and maintains that high level of crushability you’ve come to expect from our Chippy Boi™ Lager Program. We teamed up with the Hoofy Mayne Juicelords (Hoof Hearted Brewery) and whipped up one hell of a tasty lil treat for y’all. DDH DIPA, BABYYYYYYYYY!

“We Don’t Sell Those Here” is named after a really insensitive and uptight wine salesman in Savannah who refused to sell us a corkscrew. Mashed with Riverbend Malt 2-Row, Flaked Wheat, Flaked Oats, Malted Wheat, Malted Oats, Dextrin Malt, and just a kiss of Brewer’s Crystals for MAXIMUM BODY. Hopped very aggressively in the Whirlpool with BRU-1, fermented with our House IPA yeast, Dry-hopped once with BRU-1 and Sabro, and then Dry-hopped a second time with an ignorant amount of BRU-1 and Sabro, and a Hoofy-size handful of El Dorado Cryo. Spunded for dat natural carbonation, boiiiiiiii.

We experience mountains of fresh-cut Pineapple, putting some Pit Viper sunglasses on a Mango, surfing in a Pina Colada daydream, and getting slapped in the face with a jug of Orange Juice. Last time we checked, it’s still the weekend!

PS: Whenever we see Trevor, we whip up more than one beer, so be on the lookout for an extra crispy treat in a few weeks. Love ya, bud! Read Less

Surrender to the exhilaration of The Riff of the CRAB, as we unleash this bold creation that is as insane as it is delicious!

This mind-bending bevvy was conditioned on a tidal wave of Peach, Apricot, Pineapple, Orange, Tangerine, Cheesecake, Marshmallow, and a bit of Lactose to tie the whole room together. This is a Smoothie-style Fruited Cheesecake GF Sour, because, well…why not?

Inspired by the beloved little appetizer, our "CRAB RANGOON" boasts the same delightful flavors, minus the crab, of course. Dive into delightful waves of fruity Apricot and Peach, with a big ol’ wave of tropical twist and the perfect balance of sweet and sour. And don't forget... THE POWER OF THE CHEESECAKE! This beauty started with a traditional Czech water profile and a base of 100% Riverbend Cumberland Pilsner malt, was tickled in the Kettle with some German Saaz hops, and then suplexed in the Whirlpool with a punishing amount of even more Saaz. Fermented cool with our preferred Lager strain, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and then cold-conditioned to perfection in a Horizontal Lager Tank. Traditional through and through, this baby leaves nothing to be desired.

Notes of fresh floral bouquets, cracker-y goodness, and just a touch of jasmine tea. You’re met with a smooth nudge of Pilsner malt, and then caressed into a soft floral blanket, with a velvety clean finish and just the tiniest breeze of bitterness to round it all out. Not quite as crisp and biting as a German Pils, this baby is OHHHHH so smooth. Believe in it.

THE CHEESECAKE ENGINE ROARS AGAIN! THIS TIME WE HAVE FILLED THE TANK WITH SCREAMS!

“Screamo Engine” is mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt 2-Row along with Wheat, and Flaked Oats. Soured overnight in our kettle and then hit with a hefty dose of Lactose, and fermented with our House IPA yeast. Conditioned on arguably too much Blackberry and a smattering of Passionfruit, a kiss of freshly ground Cinnamon, and (of course) a tasteful amount of Cheesecake.

*THIS CONTAINS LACTOSE, Y’ALL*

We experience a screaming sensation of Blackberry Cheesecake drizzled in Passionfruit compote and dusted in Cinnamon, a delicious and quenching Blackberry froyo with Passionfruit chunks and graham cracker chunks, and that really dope fruit leather you find at the “health food store” down the street. Our computers said that people liked this one. The data has spoken, so “Computers Can Do That?” is back and begging the question…what CAN’T they do?! DEAR GOD, WHAT CAN’T THEY DO?!

Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row, Proximity Mid-Atlantic Wheat and Dextrin, and some Flaked Wheat for good measure. Hopped in the whirlpool with Citra, fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped with Mosaic, and then dry-hopped yet again with MORE Mosaic, Belma, and a slathering of Citra Lupomax.

We experience Mango sorbet drizzled with Lemon preserves, those little Strawberry hard candies that your grandma used to have all the time, a whole mouthful of mixed berries, and a balanced dankness to tie it all together. We’re stoked on this one, ferrrrr sure.

Our Double Dry-Hopped Hazy Southern Hemisphere IPA is returning to guide you as we ascend from this mortal plane of existence.

Mashed with a base of @riverbendmalt Cumberland Pils, along with their Wheat and Oats, and a smattering of Flaked Oats for extra heft. Hit heavily in the Whirlpool with Southern Cross, fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped once with Nectaron and Superdelic, and then dry-hopped a second time with a punishing amount of Nectaron, Superdelic, Southern Cross, and a hefty-ass dose of Mosaic Terpenes for good measure. Of course, as always, this was spunded for carbonation of the natural variety!

Bursting with notes of Haribo gummies drowning in a river of Guava and Berries, some magical lil Cutie Tangerines in the Summer, the classic brightness of fruit and depth of miscellaneous tropical fruit character we all know and love from NZ/AU hops, and just a smidge of that CBD legal-weed dankness to tie the room together.

IT’S BACK, Y'ALL! We brought back another slammer from last Summer, and it’s a tasty little demon. “Devilish and Fancy” is a Gose with Sea Salt, Coriander, Guava, Feijoa, Raspberry, and Mango. AVAILABLE NOW!

We’ve changed quite a few things in our process since we first brewed this beer, and honestly, we feel that we achieved even more body, fruit character, and overall balance than last time!

Pretty much a Capri-Sun that someone melted a box of fruit-roll-ups into. Massive Raspberry and Strawberry character up front, followed by a tidal wave of Guava candies, a spritzing of dried Mango slices, and a really cool salty-citrus balance at the end from heavier doses of Sea Salt and Coriander. So good, it’ll make you wanna summon your inner party-demon ONCE AGAIN. But, like, still the fun one.

ABSOLUTELY NO LACTOSE IN THIS BEAST!

We always go nuts for coconuts. Sadly, we still don’t always go nuts for coming up with cool names.

“Haven’t Talked Names Yet”, our Coconut White DIPA collaboration with our buddies Incendiary Brewing, IS BACK, BABYYYY! We brewed this up last year and it was one of our favorite Summer bangers, so we had to bring it back around.

Mashed with @riverbend 2-row, an aggressive smattering of Red Wheat, and Oats. Hit in the Whirlpool with bunches of BRU-1, more Orange juice and fresh Orange zest than last time, and a hefty dose of Coriander. Fermented with our House IPA yeast this time, dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, and then dry-hopped a SECOND time with more Mandarina and BRU-1, along with Sabro and a dusting of Citra Cryo. Cuz that wasn’t enough, we then conditioned it on a fuckload of Coconut.

We get notes of Pineapple Pez, scoops of Coconut Ice Cream atop Clementine wedges, a cold Flintstones orange push pop by the pool in middle school, freshly baked challah bread, and wisps of freshly ground citrusy coriander.

Smooth, creamy, aggressive, yet balanced. So friggin’ stoked this one is back and better than ever! Read Less

Darling, hold onto your glass, because we're about to dive into the fabulous world of "Fun de Mental"! Can you even handle it? Sour Peach Ring Marshmallow Gluten Free Sour? Sweetie, are there no rules anymore? Is this just a hot mess of chaos? Well, honey, you better believe it, we are back on the candy train.

So, what's the result, you ask? Picture this: Sour Peach Rings bathed in a luscious marshmallow embrace. It's got a super pleasant tartness, a very balanced sweetness, an absolute fat stack of candy-marshmallow goodness, and that's pretty much the sassy lowdown. And despite the candy extravaganza, this GF Sour is surprisingly well-balanced. I mean, come on, there's so much candy presence it's practically raining rainbow sprinkles.
