Brewed by Perle and Craig Allan specially created for Saveur Bière - Beery Christmas 2020

The beer pours a clear dark mahogany. The light brown foam is dense with fine bubbles.
The nose is predominantly on the malt character with notes of toffee and light roast and cereals.
The taste offers a nice balance of sweetness, maltiness and bitterness. The finish is hoppy fresh mixed with hints of liquorice and a delicate carbonation.

Perles Before Swine est une collaboration entre la brasserie de Craig Allan et la brasserie Perle.
C'est une bière ambrée de style scotch ale, vieillie dans des fûts de pinot noir alsacien avec des levures sauvages.

Sous une robe ambrée coiffée d'une fine mousse beige, elle dévoile des arômes de fruits secs, de caramel, de malt grillé, de vin rouge et de levure.

En bouche, on y retrouve des saveurs de fruits, de vin rouge, de levure et de fruits secs dans un ensemble complexe et boisé.
