Molly Maguire’s Old Mauch Chunk Lager is a walk back in history. A pale lager inspired by the pre-prohibition era to try to recreate an example of the type of beer likely produced and consumed in Mauch Chunk circa 1880. Brewed with North American 6-Row Barley, this beer is clean and crisp with pronounced grainy notes. The malt body is balanced by the higher hopping rates common to the era, creating a pleasant bitterness that stands out more than most mainstream American lagers.
