It was fermented with a blend of organisms to best emulate the rustic characteristics of a traditional Belgian Lambic. The young beer was aged in French oak casks with fresh raspberries for 1 year which allowed the development of a soft oak presence, dry expressive yeast quality and tart bright acidity from the fermented fruit and bacteria. This beer was brewed with Spruce Tips in the boil and dry hopped with Simcoe and Cascade hops to really emphasize the Piney and lemon peel aroma and taste. It pours a pale straw color with a slight chill haze to reinvoke the cold nature of this beer. Named after the Slide Mountain (East Bowl) side of Mt Rose ski resort. Read Less
