A Brewery with Tradition and Vision
For more than 150 years, we have been brewing honest, original beers with expertise handed down by craftsmen over generations. Our brewmasters continue to enthusiastically demonstrate their skill, talent and passion for producing good beer with every freshly pitched batch of wort.
In Bayreuth and the neighboring region known as Franconian Switzerland, it has long been the custom to fill bottom-fermented beers in swing-top bottles. Earlier, these Franconian specialties were lagered in cellars under the breweries, and today these beers are still aged for long periods in order to allow them to fully mature in the bottle. Two of Franconia’s most notable beer styles came about in this way: Kellerbier and Landbier.
Our beers are brewed with the finest ingredients using traditional techniques according to time-tested recipes. The honest, artisanal brewing methods and the love and attention that go into our beer are obvious from the very first sip – they are fresh, flavorful, drinkable and of the highest quality. Show Less
