Apricot and orange marmelade nose with a hint of gym locker room. Very little of the expected resiny hop component. Medium bodied with a good malt-to-hop balance. Hops remain on the fruity side throughout. Finishes only mildly bitter.

Thick oily dark brown with a viscous rocky tan head. Oodles of lacing. Coffee is overly dominant in the aroma and flavor and it comes across as old stale coffee instead of fresh. The beer finishes abruptly and very dry.

Aroma-wise this is an explosion of maple, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. The spices never overtake the malty beer beneath however. Great finish with spices receding slowly making way for a maple-tinged malty wash.
