So when our 4 year old declared that Godzilla “can only destroy buildings”, but God-Damn-Zilla “could destroy the whole Earth,” we knew the young one had coined his first beer name. (We have no idea where, he might hear such bad language ?)

Our God-Damn-Zilla features the classic Citra, Mosaic combo in a 22g/l double dry hop Double Hazy IPA. Weighing in at 8.1% this beast can do plenty of damage. So channel your inner God-Damn-Zilla and get your claws on some today. Destruction never tasted so good. Read Less

You walk up to your favorite pub to grab a few beers one sunny afternoon. But this is no normal day. No! It will be a day filled with suspense, twists and turns.

Just as you arrive, you see a seemingly healthy, fit man lose his balance, wobble, stumble before finally falling down. You wonder what caused this. “It’s too early in the afternoon for this to be a simple case of being drunk?”

Determined to get to the bottom of this mystery, you run through possibilities in your head. “Did someone drug him?” “Does he suffer from vertigo?”

You overhear one of his friends say he is simply a Victim of Gravity. “A Victim of Gravity? That can’t make any sense?”

Then, a shady character, mumbling something about home brewing, angrily grumbles “Gravity in beer leads to the amount of alcohol in the beer, you newbie!”. He pulls down his hoodie and disappears as quickly as he arrived.

Bewildered, you are relieved to see that your friend has brought you a beer from the bar. It is beautiful orange haze, exploding with aroma and it goes down smooth. Too smooth. You have another and another, before feeling feel light-headed yourself.

You look for somewhere to sit down and wonder if you have been afflicted with the same malady as the poor chap who fell down earlier. You tell your friend you are feeling woozy and that strange character in the hoodie reappears and ominously says, “you too are now a Victim of Gravity”

Deviously delicious with a DDH of Amarillo, Mosaic and a dash of Citra. Read Less

Pi Day is 3.14 (March 14th). This is the day everything changed for our small brewery and taproom, as Berlin closed all bars, effectively killing our business since we mostly make kegs. π had unleashed his wrath on brewers, bars, and restaurants everywhere.
This delicious NEIPA was the last beer we brewed just before this fateful day. It is too good to dump, so we worked hard to buy new equipment and figure out the logistics to start bottling and delivering our beers to our amazing customers. Sharing our beer is our obsession.

This beer is fun experiment that turned out awesome. We took our classic West Coast IPA, Poor but Hoppy and doubled the aroma hops. Double the whirlpool Centennial and instead of single dry hop of Centennial and Simcoe, we did it twice. That's 20g per Liter of aroma hop goodness.
Bursting with stone fruit and grapefruit on the nose, Poor but Hazy has an easy drinking juiciness with restrained bitterness.
Compare this with the Poor but Hoppy to see how changing the yeast and dry hop regimen allows a completely different flavor profile from the exact same ratio of hops.

A couple of months ago, we first released our very popular and delicious Double Hazy IPA, God-Damn-Zilla! While there were no complaints about the big lizard, we did notice a quite few people stumbling into things after drinking a few too many of the 8.1% beast.
Fortunately, G.D. Zilla left us a present, as we discovered a Zilla egg! After lots of TLC, the little guy has hatched! So let’s welcome Baby-Zilla, the Session Hazy IPA version of God-Damn-Zilla.
Baby-Zilla has all the mean, green hops of his predecessor but only 4.8% alcohol. DDH again with Citra and Mosaic. We cranked up the wheat and oats in the grain bill for a full body and soft mouthfeel. It may be a Zilla, but it’s only a baby, so don’t be scared to be have few more.

The doorbell rings. Expecting a delivery, you jump up from the sofa in excitement. Is it the delicious, fresh, Bräugier beer you ordered? Is it your new PlayStation? Or maybe that sweet hat you ordered to impress your hot coworker?

You get to the door and answer the intercom to buzz in the delivery guy. “Hallo?!” you say, full of anticipation.

But what do you hear in response?

The same damn thing you always hear. The delivery is not for you!! Instead you hear over the intercom the dreaded phrase: “Paket für Nachbarn” (English: Package for your Neighbor)!

Somehow, they never have your stuff…your stuff probably got delivered to a neighbor. And now for the 3rd time this week, deflated, you agree to accept the package for your neighbor, while your apartment is starting to look more and more like a Paket Shop. Welcome to modern life in a German city.

For the next time that happens, we’ve got the beer to help you unwind. Our newest Double Dry Hopped NEIPA is 6.9% and features 22 g/l of Simcoe, El Dorado, and Idaho 7.

In no way do we encourage postal theft, but we can totally understand if the next package you take for your neighbor has a Bräugier sticker on it, you decide to drink one or two for yourself.

Berlin’s long lost treasure, the Bernsteinzimmer (English: Amber Room) has finally resurfaced!

The Bernsteinzimmer was an ornate room originally constructed in the 18th century out of amber panels, gold leaf and mirror for Berlin’s Royal Palace. Considered an eighth wonder of the world, it was later given as a gift from Friedrich Wilhelm to Tsar Peter the Great. The Bernsteinzimmer stayed in Russia until World War II when the Nazi Army moved it to Königsberg (today Kaliningrad). However, as the allies closed in, the Germans disassembled the room and packed it into crates. In the chaos of the war, it disappeared and has not been found since. Treasure hunters continue to chase down possible locations to this day, but so far, without luck…until now :)

Our Bernsteinzimmer Amber Lager shares its beautiful amber color with its namesake room, but instead of with gold leaf, we adorned our beer with a generous amount of the noble Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hop. Things may have seemed crazy in 2020…scratch that…things ARE still a bit crazy now in 2022. But don’t forget Chaos is Not Forever. The Universe started in a big bang, but later galaxies, stars, planets, and life formed. Revolutions and wars occurred, in the best cases, periods of peace and growth followed.

Or take Double Dry Hopped beers...a primordial wort stew of thick green hops, rapidly fermenting yeast producing at first a range of unusual compounds and aromas, finally settle down resulting in uniquely delicious haze.

So, sit back, embrace a bit of chaos, and take comfort that it doesn’t last forever. And, of course, drink a nice beer. We made this Hazy IPA driven by Idaho 7 and rounded out by some Citra for just such an occasion. It’s dank, stone fruit, melon and candy, but over 7% to take the edge off. Enjoy as long as it lasts!
