What better beer to drink on the day the Orange Filth has finally fucked off into the sea? (i.e. shouldn't this be called 'Biden'?) Pilgrim, Chinook, Citra & El Dorado. Opaque. Light, damp, somewhat thin. Peach is there. A little golden malt. Not bad.Earned the Fields of Gold (Level 21) badge!
With swallows on the packaging I was sucker-punched by the branding & obviously couldn't pass up the opportunity. Belter. Decent head, slow to fade. Opaque. Soft. Hops strong on the nose, not over-done one the tounge. Amarillo, Citra, Eukanot, & El DoradoEarned the I Believe in IPA! (Level 64) badge!
Smells strongly of pine resin and sap. Cascade, Centennial and Eureka. Very full in flavour: malt takes one for a split second, then the hops fully represent and endure on the tongue. Love it. This is gulper.Earned the Untappd at Home (Level 49) badge! Earned the Pale as the Moon (Level 54) badge!
I seriously want to like mild, but I seriously dislike coffee. As a concept mild is brilliant. But this smells like coffee, tastes exactly like coffee, and although well brewed it isn't for me. The search continues.Earned the Hopped Down (Level 20) badge! Earned the For the Can (Level 53) badge!
#VISBF #10 - A fine choice to leave to a winter evening. Pleasant cherry and chocolate combo against the backdrop of what I can only describe as tasting the smell of freshly ground coffeeEarned the God Save the Queen (Level 86) badge!
