This is the first typical New England IPA beer I've tasted in South Africa. It has the smell of broccoli and it tastes very citrusy with the grassy backbone. The finish is hoppy (not bitter), zesty and vinous. I can taste the Nelson Sauvin for sure.

We don't get a lot of English Ales/bitters here in South Africa, so I'm no expert, but this beer is great. Its very malty and strong in taste of fermentation/yeast that lingers on the palate. I don't have the nuance to explain why I like it though :).

Decent example of a dubbel. Restrained yeast expression but with character expected of a Belgian beer. Carbonation is low so you don’t get that full mouth feel. Flavours (malt, red fruits) are a bit muted.
