Not necessarily a juicy IPA, but very similar. Flavor elements encompass various tropical fruits. I believe this beer is double dry hopped and as such the bitterness of the hops is subdued and aromatic flavors associated with the fruits enhanced. This **

Wonderful juicy west coast IPA. Full mouthfeel with little or no bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking. I can actually taste the pineapple and the flavor lingers on the tongue throughout the swallow. Excellent beer.

Initial sip yielded a mouthful of flavors. Foremost was the abundant hoppiness which was well tempered with an almost yeasty taste that eliminated nearly all bitterness. Citrusy flavors are also evident and combined with the smooth juiciness says one more
Paul Bouthilet is drinking a Mosaic Session by Community Beer Company at Hollywood Heights
This Mosaic Session beer is the lightweight to its companion beer Mosaic IPA. The former sports a 6% ABV, while the later is in the 8% range. Other than the differing alcohol content the beers are essentially the same. Both exhibit a potent but not **

See prior checkin for an explanation of the can art. Now to what's inside the can. Excellent amber but heavier on the malt than anticipated. Smooth and sweet with an abundant mouthful taste. Thanks Alex.

Excellent oatmeal Stout. Full bodied, with a strong chocolate flavor. Not particularly creamy but the texture is very smooth. My son just returned from skiing in Colorado and brought back this beer. Thanks Alex.

Paul Bouthilet is drinking a Kolsch by Altstadt Brewery at Hollywood Heights
Excellent Texas brewed Kolsch. Medium to light bodied, crisp taste and a flavorful malt hop balance. Very refreshing on a warm evening (75 degrees).

Very good beer. Somewhat sweet but extremely smooth. Mellowness is enhanced by the agave flavor. Modest ABV of 4.5% and 20 IBU contributes to a tasty drinkable brew. Back in Dallas and enjoying its nice weather.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this beer. About what I thought; not much of a distinctive taste. Although the lemon and lime flavors are evident they appear to mask anything that might appeal to one's taste buds. Perhaps better suited to hot weather.
Paul Bouthilet: More flavorful and better as it warmed.
Paul Bouthilet is drinking a Rahr's Blonde by Rahr & Sons Brewing Company at Hollywood Heights
Very refreshing on a warm Dallas day. Typical blonde lager/ale. Modestly sweet and light on the tongue. Solid malt hop balance. Enjoyable thirst quenching finish.
Paul Bouthilet is drinking an Oktoberfest by Rahr & Sons Brewing Company at Hollywood Heights
Excellent marzen. Smooth, sweet and malty.
Paul Bouthilet is drinking The Boot by Abita Brewing Company at Hollywood Heights
Back in Dallas at The Beer Tree. Crisp with a sweet malty flavor. Subtle fruit (apple) taste/aroma accented with a light hoppiness. Beer sold only in Louisiana, but my son traded a 6 pack of Spotted Cow for a 6 pack of this beer and saved 1 for me.
