James Villines is drinking a Samichlaus Classic (2013) by Schloss Eggenberg
Wow, this held up well. Enough carbonation to stay viable, big walnut, caramel, pecan notes, touch of flakiness, sweet tobacco. Oxidation is limited to a marked flavor of PX sherry. Cheers, Scott!

Scott Olsen: "This shit slaps." Well said. I love how the more subtle fruit of this one allows the alluring funk of the base to shine. Balanced and beautiful.

G-O-L-D. Slight edge to "Duende," but this is excellent. Cheers, Scott!

Such a distinctively Creature Comforts beer: hazy, imperial Tropicalia - and that's a good thing. Kumquats, lemon, lime, grapefruit, apricot, light bready malt backbone, soft, butnwith a bracing acidity that keeps it from heaviness. Cheers, Scott!
You beautiful beast. An initial tide of maple-infused chocolate and oak gives way to layer upon layer of spices, hints of roasted nuts, pepper, dried cherries, figs, and more. Rich, silky, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime beer. Cheers, Scott; to many more!
