Hell of a beer. So boozy and so far from being an IPA. Tastes more like a super boozy strong ale or barleywine. Very sweet and thick. Had side by side with 2017 Sam Adams Utopias. Definitely had the fruit and oak notes of it. What a great boilermaker.

Had this alongside Dogfish Head Utopias barrel aged 120 minute IPA. Definitely had that nail polish fruity date note. So good. Golden raisins. Have maybe a bit less than half the bottle left. A great treat! Busy night going through Ally’s mom’s stuff.

Burnt toffee. Dark caramel. Belgian quad taste. Red fruit from the red wine barrel. Toasty. Silky. Somewhat syrupy. Not bitter. Boozy. Ally doesn’t care for this, but I like it.
