2011. A little pop when open but Not much carbonation. Sight Smokey smell with a little band aid. Sweet aged beer caramel upfront with smoke and a hint of cardboard in back with a similar finish. Way passed it’s prime but a not bad.

Dan Marcks: Shhhhhhh but I had an old Sprecher beer that tasted of "adhesive medical strips." It was extremely off-putting and poured down the drain. So that description does nothing to improve my outlook on this. Lol. Either way, agreed, Alaskan does it it nice.
Dan Marcks: If you get into the Minneapolis/St Paul area then definitely pick up literally anything from Hammerheart Brewing. Everything is smoked and I haven't had a bad beer yet.

Dan Marcks: Unfortunately they no longer have a taproom. They closed out of the blue only a week after I was there. However, they still brew and distribute in local stores. Check the website for where.

Drinking out of these free glasses Craig won from Miller when the Bucks won the championship. They just arrived today finally. Beer is smoky, in smell and taste. 2011 bottle that is likely past it’s prime. Smoke, rye, a bit of sausage, dry.
