Nose is reminiscent of a Flanders Oud Bruin with sour orange, oak, funk, & tanic red wine. Effervescent, tart, acidic, and dry. Flavors of sour oak, tanic red wine, candied orange peel, & Belgian yeast. Subtle cinnamon & cocoa emerge on the finish.

2015 drank in 2023. I bought this to share and ran out of nerves to wait any longer. Orange and cinnamon are in the nose, sip, and finish. Everything else is subtle. Chocolate, coffee… even the ale taste is present but less obvious.
