We start by introducing our carefully crafted Hellfighter Imperial Porter to bourbon barrels. For months this elixir sits, drawing in flavors of vanilla and oak to complement the rich, chocolate character of the porter. Further down the road, cherries are blended into the barrels to awaken the fermentation once again. Luscious, yet subdued cherry flavor intermingles with the ale on wood to provide another layer of complexities.
