Nathan le Gueux Cohen: It did open up a lot, pretty bitter and woody at first, much softer notes afterwards, almost nutty
Jacob Cottreau: I guess some variation on bottles but did you get the wine on the finish once it opened up? Ours was not overly bitter

After seeing the blackness was a little scared but what a perfect preserved bottle. Aroma: wowwww funky cheesy overload, pink peppercorns, deep cognac layers, orange peel Taste: sherry, horse blanket, leather, faint fruitiness, buttery on mid palate
Jacob Cottreau: Aftertaste: rich, creamy, dried mushroom, drying tannins from the bordeaux, oak, wine yeast, herbal. Lingering Opened up immensely after 30 minutes. Funk dissipates and shows its layers much more elegantly. What can I say. Top three non-geuze lambics
