Not sure what has changes since it said best by 2014 but it is really good. Caramelized sugar with the pepper adding a zesty fresh kick to the boozy spice and a mellow hoppy backbone keeps it multidimensional.

Hmmm. Apparently I had it back in 2014 and didn’t rate it. 8 1/2 years later and it tastes pretty good.

Ok so this is higher ABV than I thought. Bottle says enjoy by November 2014 so at least 8 years old. Definitely some alcohol burn but the hop character is still there after 8 years.

Back at the rivah and time for another episode of the way back machine. Have to admit I was worried about this one because it’s not a sour or a super-high ABV beer. It still drinks good. Still has some hop character which blends great with the chilis
